Integrate HubSpot and AudiencePoint

AudiencePoint and HubSpot Integration

The AudiencePoint HubSpot integration connects your HubSpot Marketing Enterprise account so you can import contact data into AudiencePoint for analysis. The integration uses OAuth, meaning AudiencePoint will hand you off to HubSpot to complete authentication. No credentials are entered in AudiencePoint directly. During setup, you will also provide the ID of the HubSpot Brand (formerly called a Business Unit) whose contacts you want to import.

Most teams complete setup in just a few minutes.

What Does This Integration Do?

  • Imports contact data from HubSpot into AudiencePoint for analysis.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have the following:

  • Access to your AudiencePoint account.
  • Access to your HubSpot Marketing account with permissions to authorize third-party integrations.
  • Your HubSpot Business Unit ID — the numeric ID of the Brand you want to connect (see Step 2).

Important: Brands (formerly Business Units) are available as an add-on that requires Marketing Hub Enterprise. If you are unsure whether your account includes Brands, check with your HubSpot administrator before proceeding. If you do not have one, contact your AudiencePoint representative for guidance.

Step 1: Choose the Integration Type

Log in to AudiencePoint and open Integrations, then click New.

Under Choose an integration type, select HubSpot OAuth Integration.

Step 2: Enter Integration Details

In the Integration details section, Data Ingestion is enabled by default. This is the only feature available for HubSpot integrations.

In the Business Unit ID field, enter the ID of the HubSpot Brand you want AudiencePoint to connect to. “Business Unit” is HubSpot’s API name for what now appears as a Brand in the HubSpot interface, so this value is your Brand’s numeric ID.

If you are not sure which ID to use, your HubSpot administrator can provide the numeric Business Unit ID for the Brand you want to connect.

Step 3: Name the Integration

In the Name integration section, give the integration a descriptive name. This is especially helpful if you plan to create more than one HubSpot integration.

Step 4: Save and Authenticate

Click Save. AudiencePoint will redirect you to HubSpot to complete authentication.

Log in to your HubSpot account when prompted and authorize the connection.

Once you authorize the connection, HubSpot will return you to AudiencePoint and the integration will be marked as active.

Verify the Connection

  • The integration appears in your Integrations list.
  • The integration status shows as active.
  • No errors or warnings are displayed.
  • Data Ingestion is shown as enabled.

Managing Your Integration

Once created, your HubSpot integration is available from the Integrations list. From there you can:

  • View your integration configuration.
  • Enable or disable Data Ingestion.
  • Create additional HubSpot integrations if your workflows require them.

Next Steps

With your HubSpot integration active, you can:

  • Create an Audience — open Audiences, click New, and select this integration as your data source.
  • Run an Analysis — open Analyses, select your Audience and choose an analysis type.
  • Set Up Automation — contact your AudiencePoint representative to configure automated triggers based on your HubSpot data.
