AudiencePoint S3 integration
The AudiencePoint S3 integration connects an Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) bucket to AudiencePoint for file delivery, audience creation, and analysis. You can either provide your own S3 bucket credentials or let AudiencePoint create and manage one for you.
Most teams complete setup in just a few minutes.
What does this integration do?
- Connects an Amazon S3 bucket to AudiencePoint for file delivery and data exchange.
- Allows AudiencePoint to build Audiences from data delivered to the S3 bucket.
- Delivers analysis results back to the S3 bucket.
- Imports subscriber data from the S3 bucket into AudiencePoint for analysis.
Before you begin
Determine which setup path applies to you:
- New bucket — leave the credential fields blank during setup. AudiencePoint will create an S3 bucket for you and populate the credentials automatically after you save.
- Existing bucket — if your organization already has an AudiencePoint S3 bucket and you want to connect additional team members or automated processes to it, have your S3 ARN (Amazon Resource Name), Access Key, and Secret ready to enter manually.
Step 1: Create the integration
Log in to AudiencePoint and open Integrations.
Click New and select AudiencePoint S3 Integration from the list of integration types.
Step 2: Credentials
You will see fields for S3 ARN, S3 Access Key, and S3 Secret.
- New bucket — leave all three fields blank. AudiencePoint will generate a new S3 bucket and populate these fields automatically after you save.
- Existing bucket — enter the S3 ARN, Access Key, and Secret from your existing AudiencePoint S3 bucket. Use this option when connecting additional team members or automated processes to a bucket that was already created for your organization.
Step 3: Select features
Choose which features to enable for this integration. Audience Creation is enabled by default. You can enable additional features at any time.
- Audience Creation — allows AudiencePoint to build Audiences from data delivered to this S3 bucket.
- Analysis Delivery — delivers analysis results back to this S3 bucket.
- Data Ingestion — imports subscriber data from this S3 bucket into AudiencePoint for analysis.
Step 4: Name the integration
Give the integration a descriptive name. The field defaults to “AudiencePoint S3 Integration” — updating this is especially helpful if you plan to create more than one.
Step 5: Save
Click Save to complete the setup. If AudiencePoint is generating your bucket, your S3 ARN, Access Key, and Secret will be populated automatically. You can view these by opening the integration from your Integrations list.
Copy and store your credentials somewhere secure.
Verify the connection
- The integration appears in your Integrations list.
- No errors or warnings are displayed.
- Your selected features are shown as enabled.
- S3 credentials are visible on the integration record.
Managing your integration
Once created, your S3 integration is available from the Integrations list. From there you can:
- View your S3 credentials and configuration.
- Toggle features on or off.
- Create additional S3 integrations if your workflows require separate buckets — you can have more than one active at a time.
